We all hung around in my parents' yard and chatted, ate a great deal of good food (hot dogs, veggies and dip, chips, watermelon and cake), and watched the kids run around and play with Star Wars stuff. I had great fun blowing bubbles and watching their little boys whap them with their lightsabers.
I wonder if I can find myself a green lightsaber. Since seeing the kids' ones, I've become rather enamored of the idea.
It was a very good way to get together with them, especially since we won't likely be able to do that too often with my aunt and uncle having moved to North Carolina to be with Daughter #1 and her family. I'm really going to miss it.
