I had a grand time, despite the weather. I've already posted here about Friday, and have a post written for Saturday (
We saw a lot of shows - the Renaissance Man (stand-up comedy), Shakespeare's Skum (comedic interpretations of the Bard's works), a couple of shows featuring the Royals (though I missed the Royal Arrival on all three days - poop) - and did some shopping. I got a green cloak (as it was chilly and drizzly on Saturday), a purple unicorn puppet, three books - Sex With the Queen by Eleanor Herman (autographed by the author, who's a very nice lady), Six Wives: The Queens of King Henry VIII, by David Starkey, and Henry VIII: the King and his Court by Alison Weir. I also got a new black rabbit skin (softness incarnate!) and an ermine skin for my four-footed babies (which seems to be a hit, at least with Miss Kerrigan). I also picked up a baby dragon puppet for
My new green outfit looked good - I even got a compliment on my hat (Woman at Faire: "Where did you get your [hat]? It's gorgeous!" Me: "I made it." *smiles* "Fabric and trim - Joann Fabrics.").

On Wednesday morning, we headed out at around 10:30 am, and were back home at around 6:45 pm (after stopping to eat dinner at the Denny's near the Buffalo Airport).
A very fun vacation - I'm glad to be home again, but at the same time, I'm a bit sad that it's over. Oh, well, there's always next year. :)
